Information - Strongpoint Corbiere.

With construction starting in late 1942 by forced workers, Strongpoint Corbiere formed a key part of the defences of St Ouens Bay.

The M19 mortar bunker is connected to the neighbouring six loopholed heavy machine gun turret bunker by an underground tunnel and served as the Strongpoint's command bunker. 

During it's time in operation, a fight between two of it's crew supposedly took place on the concrete staircase at the end of the tunnel which ended with one of the soldiers being killed. Is his the apparition that has been witnessed by numerous volunteers? Whose footsteps are often heard in the bunker when nobody else is around? and who's is the lady's voice frequently heard when the bunker is empty?
