Jersey Paranormal Investigation Society began with a simple idea; to explore the unexplained and support a local charity at the same time.

With over forty years experience collectively, the team consists of keen paranormal investigators and C.I.O.S. members whose passion is historic buildings and whoever  still resides in them. We are a voluntary group that holds public and private group investigation events in some of the C.I.O.S. bunkers and all the monies raised helps with the restoration and maintenance of them.

MEET THE TEAM

I am the founder and a team leader for the Jersey Paranormal Investigation Society. My mother was a spiritualist medium and I have had a fascination for the paranormal as long as I can remember.

As a long standing member and volunteer for the C.I.O.S.  I approached the committee with the idea of hosting paranormal investigations for raising additional funds and they agreed. This is our third year and it has been an amazing experience.

Julie

Paranormal phenomena has been an interest I've had since my teenage years, visiting allegedly haunted abandoned buildings and cemeteries in the North East of England where I grew up.

In 2006, I started the Jersey Paranormal Research Organisation. This is where I first met Julie and, a few years later my now wife Kerrie.

I am now a proud member and team leader with Jersey Paranormal Investigation Society.

Michael

I have been interested in the paranormal since my teens, after moving into an old family property with my parents. Family and friends experienced sightings, knocks and footsteps.

I joined Jersey Paranormal Research Organisation in 2009, when I started dating my now husband Michael. Around 2 years ago we joined Jersey Paranormal Investigation Society in which I am a team leader.

Kerrie

 

I have been part of the team since 2024.

Ever since I can remember I have had a keen interest in the paranormal and have experienced things such as someone playing with my hair when I was young, an encounter with a long deceased relative and many  more unexplained happenings whilst investigating the bunkers and other locations.

Lauren

I have always had a fascination in the paranormal from a young age, sensing someone was with me wherever I went, protecting me. I explored and read more after I felt a loved one who had passed, sit right next to me on the bed. It was a peaceful, comforting feeling and I knew from then that there must be more after we depart this mortal world. 

Trish

I have always been interested in the paranormal because it fuels my curiosity and challenges what we think we know. Exploring the unknown and seeking the truth keeps me fascinated and open minded.

 

Calvin

 

I first became fascinated with the paranormal after my aunt passed away in my early teens. I woke up one night and saw her standing at the end of my room just watching me. It made me feel so at ease and from that moment on I knew there must be more than just this life.

Laura

 

I found an interest in the paranormal when I thought I saw an apparition in my old family home. My father later told me of instances when he saw a person, and has done ever since he was a child.

Lee

 

I've always had a fascination with the paranormal, I admit it both intrigued and frightened me. After my father passed away that curiosity faded until I met my partner eight years ago, who is a spirit worker. through the experiences we have shared, my passion for discovering what lies beyond was reignited. Since my first investigation last year, I haven't looked back and have been completely hooked ever since!
